Here I am, #back2dfuture in Melbourne, Victoria – Australia’s second biggest state and is comparable to the size of the UK. Melbourne is a city of culture full of people from all corners of the globe. With its sweeping sandy beaches, national parks, lakes, mountains, wildlife and wineries it is a varied and entertaining place.

Welcome

Melbourne itself is host to a number of International events, the Australian Grand Prix has just finished this weekend being one. Having been in the area twice before in the last 10 years I finally managed to get track side and see what all the fuss was about down at Albert Park and was not disappointed. Melbourne has already hosted the Australian Open and a fashion event kicked off just this weekend which I am hoping to get across to at some point. There is an Iron Man competition this weekend coming (March 22nd) and an International jazz festival in May. That doesn’t include the vast amount of street art that you can see which I have sampled previously but am already being blown away by some of the talent out on the streets. I’ll be a busy bee with my camera over the next few months for sure.

I shall be documenting some of the daily tales of Melburnian’s in their natural environment as I go along. I shall be shooting using a Nikon D5300, Samsung S4 and iPhone 6+ until further notice!

Here are a few to get you going. Let me know if there is something you would particularly like to see, Victoria is a vast and wonderful place.

Enjoy x
