I like art in all its forms. I believe we are all born artists but the key is to remain one as we get older. I have travelled to a few places with some spectacular art adorning various walls in the streets, but Melbourne must be one of the best. Here are a few pics from the streets over the last few days, namely the famous Hosier Lane in the city center.

Art galleries are fine but can be very restrictive with what you can and cannot photograph, I prefer to take pictures and then ask for forgiveness later. Street art is made solely for the artist and the viewer to interpret as they see fit, it is always made easier when the weather is on your side too. With graffiti and other forms of street art, your gallery is the street and the people. The interactions are much more tangible than in the stuffiness of some art galleries – you are immersed in the sounds and smell of the street and often left wondering ‘how did they get up there?’
