I’ve been slack in posting content, real slack. But I have taken a shed load of pictures so today I will focus on my new love, my Sigma 10-20mm f4.5 lens.
Lena rental might be my new best friend. I’d not really considered it before but decided to take a look at hiring a wide angle lens from Michaels Camera Shop in the CBD and wasn’t disappointed. They were quick, helpful and pretty cheap! No 6 month lock in. With so many tight laneways and sprawling vistas in the Melbourne region, a wide angle lens just made sense and makes for some interesting street photography with the distortion of the image that occurs.
You know what they say about art, you are only limited by your imagination! So if you haven’t got the funds for a wide angle lens of your own, take the option of picking up one from a camera shop and have a play around with the sort of images that you like to take as well as the more obvious landscapes.
