My new favourite activity is my mobile coffee shots. Melbourne has such wonderful coffee and such wonderful places to shoot, I felt to had to marry them up. Some you may have seen before but I wanted to give you a one stop viewing shop. Enjoy x …Read more Life in mobile

What a difference an hour makes!
I went back to bed when I heard the rain this morning. My first free day in what feels like weeks, ruined by the sound of torrential downpour. My plans to hit the streets hard and take pictures in ruins. Looking up at the southern cross system on the ceiling I decided to suck it…Read more What a difference an hour makes!
Life in mirrors – Duality – continued
Getting a good shot of someone in a reflection is a challenge. Usually people stride straight on through your careful compositions when pacing the streets but when you want to get a glimpse of them in a shop window or mirror, they are all obliging and stop! Pesky humans!

For a millisecond I thought I was on to something. A short series of pictures called 'Life in...' then I remembered there was magazine devoted to that very idea and a Ben Stiller movie too. Life in black and white
I still remember asking my grandad what life was like in the 'black and white days' when I was a kid and have been fascinated by it ever since. A few weeks ago I wrote a quick blog saying how I'd not done much black and white photography of late and what do you know?…Read more Life in black and white

So I have been taking pictures and putting them on Flickr, should I be updating this site at the same time? Probably! So here are some of the photographs I've taken in recent weeks of rough sleepers, homeless people, campaigners and such and such. You can find the rest on Flickr here or on Facebook here and follow…Read more #PLUK – Peasant Life UK
Projects for 2015 and beyond
A recent trip to Amsterdam has inspired me to embark on two photography projects. The first being a photobook, documenting the last 4-6 years of austerity in the UK, the protests I have been to and the events I have witnessed. The other is to capture the people and stories behind the effects of austerity…Read more Projects for 2015 and beyond
